Are Veneers Worth It?

Well, really you should ask yourself that. They're not cheap, they're hard to do, but they're the most beautiful thing in Dentistry that we can do.

It also depends, mainly, as I've said before, what you present with? What kind of teeth are your teeth now? What do you want them to look like? How far do you want it to go? How fancy do you want to get?

Some teeth can't have a veneer. Teeth such as those that are broken or have huge fillings already in them. You can put one on there, but I'm not going to stand behind it as far as “how long” it lasts.

A good veneer (well placed) will give you a life changing look, if that's what you're after. But sometimes, with a broken down tooth, you get to the point where you ask yourself, “Should I do a veneer or should I just go ahead and do a porcelain crown?” They're both the same price. And I don't want somebody to choose one or the other based on price because I want to choose one or the other based on the condition of your teeth.

If you want me to look and talk to you about it. Give me a call. I’d be glad to talk to you about it.
